  The Housing Rehabilitation Program offers low or no interest loans for repair and rehabilitation of owner occupied and rental properties within certain eligible areas in Thurston County.

  For owner-occupied homes, the program provides a deferred payment, zero interest loan. "Deferred payment" means that no repayments are required until you sell your home or the title is transferred, provided that all loan terms are being met. See Loan Terms for details.

  For rental properties, the program provides a low-interest amortized loan with a maximum term of 20 years.  See Loan Terms for details.

  What kind of work is eligible under the Rehab program?  Here are some examples of work that is typically eligible under the program:
