Office Closure and Coronavirus Response

Updated 3/24/2020

The Housing Authority of Thurston County is committed to doing everything we can to ensure the health and well-being of our residents. We want to keep you informed about our response to the presence of the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19. To help prevent the further spread of the COVID-19, we are closing our doors to the public until further notice.

Our staff will be teleworking from their homes starting Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3.  This is subject to change as we continue to monitor the situation.  Please be patient and allow extra time for staff to return phone calls or emails, make changes, or mail items to you.  Staff will be checking their voicemail periodically.

Tenants and Landlords:

Even though our office will be closed, we will continue sending out Housing Choice Voucher Program payments as normal. There will not be any interruptions in payments of rental assistance or payments to our vendors.

Please note that we will not be conducting annual inspections during this office closure.  However, we will continue to provide initial inspections for moves and eligibility lease-ups.

If you need to contact your housing specialist or other  staff members, please do so by email, fax, or phone.  If you need to turn in paperwork, please use the drop box located outside our office or mail it to:
