Updating your application:Instructions for updating your application to the waiting list after you submit it |

The Waiting List for the Voucher Program is open on the first five working days of each month. Application numbers will be assigned based on the date and time of receipt. Applications are available any time at the Housing Authority during normal business hours, 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. or download the application form (see below). Applications will be accepted only on the first five working days of the month after March 2001. You will be given or mailed a receipt at the time your application is received. Please retain this receipt as proof of your application. Once your application reaches the top of the waiting list, you will be scheduled for an eligibility appointment and will be asked to verify the information in the application. After you have submitted your application, check your status on the waiting list on line. Please allow up to 30 days after submitting your application before checking your status on line. |

There
is no special application process for the Mainstream Program. Your
answers to the questions on the Voucher application will help us
determine your eligibility for this program. Simply complete the Voucher
application form. Eligibility
for this program is limited to families who are referred by staff at the
Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS). If you are
working with Child Protective Services (CPS) or other programs at DCFS,
please talk to your worker about your possible eligibility for this
program.
There
is no special application process for the VIPS Program. Your answers to
the questions on the Voucher application will help us determine your
eligibility for this program. Simply complete the Voucher application
form. This
program is available only to a select group of households who are
already receiving assistance under a Voucher Contract. Please e-mail
a request for more information or talk to the Housing Specialist
assigned to you at the Housing Authority. Applications
for these units are available and accepted at the Housing Authority

Applications
for these units are available and accepted at the Fleetwood Apartments.
Call 360-704-3035 for the office hours. When your application reaches the
top of their list and you are accepted for tenancy, you will be referred
to the Housing Authority to complete the eligibility process. |

Once
you submit your application, it is very
important that we have current contact information for your household,
particularly your current address. Also, if your circumstances
change to a degree that may affect your eligibility or priority for
assistance you must report these changes. To report a change
of circumstance, you may pick up a Change of Circumstance form at our
office, or download this form on-line. To download this form,
